Eureka, They Found It

-or- How Murphy's Law Once Again Proves True Well, friends, old Murphy has found us out for the millionth time. Yesterday morning we left Brussels. Yesterday afternoon they found our bags. Isn't that convenient? (The answer is 'no'). Oh well, at least our things are in the care of the Roberts family (we hope). We're awaiting information about whether or not they have received the bags in our stead. More information to come on the FASCINATING SAGA of Tim and Jess's prodigal bags. Thanks to all who prayed for us!

Tim & Jessica. Glad the bags are doing better. I assume you did not receive my email just prior to your leaving with the warning about Heathrow. Since I'm going thru there in 3 weeks with all my props heading for India, did you learn anything that will be helpful?...Al Skinner

Al - We suggest avoiding connecting flights. If at all possible, ask to pick up your luggage in between your flights and then re-check it for the connection. You may be able to request this upon checking your baggage in the US. For some reason, they are completely unable to transfer baggage without detaining it for security purposes! Also, you'll see this, but connecting to another terminal usually means taking 1 - 2 buses. It is inefficient and not secure at all. Also, almost all flights on the board were delayed at least 1/2 hour. Best wishes - let us know how it goes.
